本計畫為探討腦瘤在低糖缺氧環境造成活化幹細胞特性及細胞靜止生長的機轉及轉譯醫學研究。不僅有助於學術上釐清造成腦瘤惡性及產生抗藥性之機轉,且提供癌症研究新的研究模式。在社會及經濟發展上,所驗證之相關基因、機制及藥物,可提供未來腦瘤治療及藥物開發新方向,以期待改善腦瘤病人預後。
