慢性阻塞性肺病為嚴重發病率和死亡率的呼吸道疾病,造成健保資源重大負擔。除了吸菸之外,近年不斷惡化的空氣汙染亦可能是致病成因,遺憾目前尚無有效療法。慢性阻塞性肺病是一種發炎老化肺病,IL-6-gp130-STAT3信號路徑於調控發炎老化過程具有重要意義,然而在慢性阻塞性肺病上游控制IL-6-gp130-STAT3信號的分子機制尚不明確。本計畫研究特定微RNA抑制gp130的新機制,試圖進一步釐清慢性阻塞性肺病致病成因,希望能提供針對IL-6-gp130-STAT3路徑更精準的藥物開發。
