Developmental Coordination through Circadian Bifurcation in the Choroid Plexus: Focus on Cerebrospinal Fluid Signaling and Pathogenesis of Hydrocephalus

Project: A - Government Institutionb - National Science and Technology Council

Project Details

Description

Pushing forward with our initial (unpublished) finding of the early emergence of the circadian clock in the choroid plexus, which may coincide with the occurrence time point of hydrocephalus, we explore the circadian origin of hydrocephalus. Our approach could lead us to an understanding of the as-yet-unknown circadian coordination of cerebrospinal fluid environment development, and potentially enable us to consider novel treatment avenues.
