本計畫預期製備出具有高免疫原性之甘露糖修飾COVID-19 仿病毒奈米顆粒,改善蛋白質型疫苗的缺點,提升免疫抗原性,提升疫苗長期記憶免疫效力,並將不同變種多價的棘狀蛋白將修飾於奈米顆粒表現,因而引起多重免疫反應以同時對抗不同變種COVID-19,藉此促進國內疫苗開發瓶頸,並提供業界之次世代疫苗技術平台,以提升生技醫藥研發自主性與疫苗國造的能力,迅速應變未來可能的疫情。
