Esports teams, competition organizer and game publishers play important roles in driving the rapid growth of Esport 3.0 industry, and also promote the simultaneous evolution of related media, service provider and hardware equipment supplier. For esport players to avoid developing Cumulative Trauma Disorder owing to long training hours (over 10~12 hours a day), a well-designed esport gaming chair concerning ergonomics principles becomes their fundamental need for healthy playing. However, associated hardware equipment supplier’s main products are computer, mechanical keyboard, gaming mouse and earmuff headphones. Companies focus on developing gaming chairs are relatively few, and those products which claim to be ergonomically-designed are usually without effective analysis proofs. Moreover, there are no relevant regulations for requiring those products to provide verifications, so whether those gaming chairs have beneficial effects on esport players are still unsure. This study tries to develop a better gaming chair in order to assist in relieving the source of sitting pressure, and improve seat cushion’s ventilation via combining Hitron electronics corporation’s energy technologies and patents, in order to avoid the possibility for esport players to develop pressure injury and skin diseases. This study will use pressure sensor pad, motion analysis system and force plate to evaluate the comfort, usability and functions of our product. In designing stage, this study will undergo fabrication, installation of electricity power supply and circuit design to prototype a new gaming chair. Finally, this study will use ergonomic methodology for evaluation, comparing and writing the evaluation report of this product. This study tries to combine the advantages of Taiwan’s electronic manufacturing technologies and advanced medical standard, raise the level of esport gaming chair to become a medical device, and provide a better and safer choice for esport players.
