本計畫的目的就是期望用本實驗室建立之特殊藥物篩選平台，篩選出抑制肥胖及肥胖引發之代謝症候群的新穎藥物，作為未來研究改善因肥胖或肥胖引發糖尿病導致腎病變轉譯醫學之基礎。以篩到的藥物, 做為未來成立生技公司的基礎, 以幫助畢業博士生或碩士生的出路
