Description
With the advent of the new era of intelligentization of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Taiwan is facing the phenomenon of ageing and declining birth rate, causing the disappearance of the labor force and directly affecting academic research and economic momentum. This phenomenon is particularly obvious for the field of natural product research with high manpower requirements. With an attempt to pass the extremely important manpower gap during the development of Taiwan's biomedical sciences, I proposed a "Design of an automatic natural product analysis module machine combined with an activity screening platform" plan. The content of this project is based on the design of a microfluidic chip combined with an active natural product fast screening device, and the establishment of a natural product database. Through the ability of manufacturers on semi-conductor manufacturing and developing sophisticated novel mass spectrometers, we are thus able to complete this project. The goal of the first year is to expand the database of the natural products, mainly terpenoids and alkaloids, and to conduct preliminary experiments and development research on enzyme fast scereening; the second year is to build a natural product-based microfluidic channels and complete a universal enzyme rapid screening and cell-level rapid screening platform; the third year is to integrate the previous two-year plan for validation verification and module machine construction.
