本研究旨在建立急重症就診病人就醫期間營養元素鋅、鐵、硒濃度不足或缺乏情形，同時運用機械學習探索藥物選擇、治療對營養微量元素高低、各類急重症包含敗血症、中風、心肌梗塞等建立預測因子；以輔助醫療預測病人急重診病情對營養微量元素缺乏並能建立鋅藥物治療之個人化劑量決策，期待能降低死亡率並提昇整體醫療品質與住院花費。
