Currently, four full-time faculties and one technician are in our department. Department members are responsible to the Parasitology courses provided to undergraduate students of School of Medicine, Medical Technology and Public Health as well as part courses for graduate students. Our major research fields cover molecular and immunopathogenesis of zoonotic parasitosis, epidemiology, and construction tropical disease prediction mode. Our research achievements have been published in internationally sound scientific Journals related to Parasitology, Tropical Medicine, Microbiology and Epidemiology. Proudly, some of excellent papers have been published in top Journals like the Lancet and Clinical Microbiology Reviews. Prof. Fan has led a Parasitology Research Team to undertake NTDs research in Africa Swaziland and Sao Tomes since 2009 as well as Marshall Islands Republic in Micronesia since 2013 and obtained a fruitful academic achievements.Fingerprint
