The College of Public Health and Nutrition was founded in 2000, and currently comprises of two schools, one graduate institute, one all-English Master’s degree program and two research centers, including School of Public Health, School of Nutrition and Health Sciences, Graduate Institute of Injury Prevention and Control, Master’s Program in Global Health and Development.

The college focuses on preventive medicine and basic research in the development of academics, and plays a think tank role with the two research centers to improve the quality of medical care and to provide evidence-based support for government policy-making.

The college is committed to empowering community health through innovative policy, effective practice and efficient services. It values research in translational medicine, and promotes interdisciplinary research groups across various fields such as epidemiology, emergency and critical care medicine, and rehabilitation. The college contributes substantially to the community and foster innovative cooperation between industry, government and academia.
