The College of Management of is one of the 8 colleges of Taipei Medical University and was established in August 2015. The College of Management is based upon developments in information integration and innovative management technologies to rapidly respond to continuously developing social needs in an ever changing and highly competitive environment. The College focuses on the requirements of the Internet as well as its next generation development of Big Data, and aims to train professional management personnel armed with unique foresight, pragmatism, and global vision specifically for the field of healthcare management. The College has established the Biostatistics Center, Big Data Research Center, and School of Health Care Administration (for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and past-time master’s degrees). In the 105th Academic Year, the College began to offer part-time degree programs for advanced management of biotechnology, Big Data technology, a graduate institute for management, post-graduate second major program in Big Data technology as well as a bachelor’s in management program. The College Dean, Dr. Kuang-fu Cheng, acquired his doctorate in statistics from the United States. He is skilled in biostatistics, statistical genetics, survival analysis methods, and non-parametric regression. Dr. Cheng served as the Vice President of National Central University as well as the adjunct professor of the Biostatistics Center and the director and dean of the College of Management of China Medical University.
